The
UKCIA mailing list guidelines for posting
|
When
you want to contribute a message to the mailing list you should
address it to ukcia-l@sorted.org.
Please include a subject header (ie a title) with your posting.
The list is set up so that if you use a reply command on your
local mail system to respond to a message received from the list
your response will be sent to everybody on the list, not just
the individual whose message you are responding to.
Examples of postings that would be considered on-topic are:-
News
of drug issues appearing in the media (electronic and otherwise).
Requests about drug information resources.
Announcements of campaigns, political activity, etc.
This
list will also be used to keep members informed of new developments
on the UKCIA web site, for requests of assistance for UKCIA projects
and the coordination of UKCIA campaigns. Similar organisations
are welcome to use this list to inform members of their activities,
but we do request that they ask us first.
The discussion is intended to be informal and other topics may
well be valid. Use your common sense and if in doubt ask (contactukcia@ukcia.org)
before you post.
This list is not intended for discussions of recreational aspects
of drug use, commercial advertising and binary postings (pictures
etc) should not be sent to the list.
Only
memebrs subscribed to the list can post to it.
