If everyone in the UK grew their own this problem would not be here. Simple as that.

In the US new states are passing laws to legalise marijuana and eventually tax it all the time. The US economy needs it and we need it too. People are actually waking up to the fact that cannabis can open up a whole new industry. I believe this is largely down to the recession. Never has there been a better time to strike.

If the weed was legalised contaminated weed would be a thing of the past. But they're not going to legalise it on their own. We need to OVERGROW them into it. We all pick up a bucket and start growing our own. The more people that grow their own then the less of a criminal offence it becomes.

Locking people up costs the economy money, when all that is needed is to follow the model set in California with legal dispensiaries. There are guys in california growing 8-10 kilo of pucka every autumn in their back yards. You grow 8-10 kilo a year you're made lol. Who cares about a heavy tax when you're doing what you love and you can grow enough to actually help other people (like people with MS) that actually need it for medical reasons.

weed is far less damaging than alcohol both physically and mentally so there should also be no reason that it isn't legalised for recreational use too.

Instead of moaning about how shit the weed is on the street grow your own and save the need to suffer.

Yo Derek maybe we should go all out and have a mass uk smokers anti- contamination protest outside the house of commons! that would get the tabloids talking! the main focus could be on the health dangers of the sillicosis timebomb and all these young kids smoking contam and thinking its a nice bit of weed.....SAY NO TO CONTAM!

Weave in the likelihood that effects politicians are trying to blame on "new stronger skunkweed" may be due to contaminants. The importance of vindicating "one-toke" herb is that if it is vilified and discredited, the alternative is for kids to roll up a hot burning overdose $igarette alias "joint" or "spliff" of something mediocre and get a brainful of carbon monoxide (not to mention the other stuff), which is what Big 2Wackgo wants them to do.

I think a starting point would be for us to each write to our local MP's, get samples sent to drugs agencies, and try to attract local newspapers into investigating. I have already wrote to my local MP Kim Howells, and have a meeting arranged with the South Wales Echo, I have also tried to spark interest with the home office, but unsurprisingly, I have recieved no correspondance after leaving messages.

I'm pretty sure that this issue is being deliberately avoided by the government, in a bid to perhaps avoid the legalisation pressure. At the moment our best weapon is awareness, and we need to not just educate the non smokers - indeed it would be more beneficial to raise awareness with the government, in that they need to know that this is going to blow up in their faces once bodies start to drop.

I STRONGLY URGE ANYBODY WHO THIS AFFECTS TO WRITE TO THEIR LOCAL MP's AND THEIR LOCAL NEWSPAPERS.
