Last time I smoked hash was in the 80s untill having a recient toke.
It looked like nice brown hash and it was potent and felt like hash.
But from what I have been reading ,it sounds like soapbar.
So what is giving the stone?

Well there is some decent hash around you know, it's not all crap. Sounds like you got lucky!

Actually if you know what good hash should look and most importantly smell like you're well on the way to getting good stuff. Problem is a lot of people don't.

Maybe I did get lucky. This stuff came from Marseille France where there are alot of Moroccians.

But still , I am wondering what active smokable ingredient would be used in place of or added to THC in soapbar?
Too bad ,pot & hash used to be a sure thing....

There is THC in soapbar, just not as much as there should be. It's still made from pressed trichomes but gets a load of other nasty stuff mixed in too.

There have been some stories/theories posted on these boards that claim that originally soapbar was good quality moroccan hash that was then being repressed with the crap (read contaminants) in Spain before being shipped around the rest of Europe.
