i just wanted to ask if anyone has been directly killed because of this gritty skunk? there has been talk here of holes in the lung because of it and that is real freightening.
why i think of it, someone actually said it was the police who are puttin the bad stuff back on the market, so that they can raise the grade to class A again??
i really feel now that, everything out there is contaminated!gritty or not.. i mean how would we know if its not.it comes with no ingredient label!!!

guys, not that Im saying Im definatly right, but my friend is studying chemistry and has had a look at a few samples under the microscope. he is 90% sure its just a very fine sand, silica is appartly very light and powdery and hes sure its not this. they have to wear masks in the lab when even handling the stuff so if it was silica I rekon we would be fucked by now :)

ive seen loads of different types of this contamination...all being different..but we could get to the bottom of this! i do rekon there's a few different types going around some more sandy than others or bit with refelective bits in....

its not the bud itself but this sand crap that i collected.
im not sure what it is...it maybe brix+ or sommit plus the problem is because we dont know exactly know wot it is some ppl (that are silly) will carry on! ive noticed most of my mates are disregarding that fact that this could be very serious.

After reading that quickly I purely shit myself. I have just bought a bens of this turd and I really wanna know what this shit is. HI ALL AND GREETINGS FROM NORTHERN IRELAND! i read about this nasty stuff a while ago, while doing some research into growing, but had never seen it until today. a friend bought some weed earlier and gave me some to skin up. it felt very powdery to touch and when i put some on my tongue it was gritty between the teeth. the 'dust' that shakes from the bud contains some very shiny, reflectice particles, which is certainly not plant material. this stuff seems to be all through the bud and not just on the outside, possibly suggesting it was added during growth. the weed was quite strong, though it seemed to crackle quite a lot when smoking. i haven't read all the posts here, but from what i have read, this seems like a typical report from anywhere in the uk. very sad times indeed.. especially after the drought. it's time to start gardening, if you haven't started already!

i must admit as i help people sometime to get hold of a smoke this situation with sand blasting weed has made me reconsider helping people..... also i have only helped a few people for a short while who are older generation and even wheelchair bound, these people should never have to experience sand blasted weed i can assure you i think this is disgusting and for the first timein 14 years i have acctulley been thinking about stopping due to the greedyness of the growers....most of my life proper smokers grew the weed for a good smoke and as we can all tell now it is being grow to rip us all off and put our health in to risk......in the 14 years i have smoked i have rarley had a day without and now i am the closest in my life to the point of not wanting to smoke because ridiculas practise........CMON GOVERMENT SORT IT OUT AND GET IT TAXED SO WE CAN ALL BUY GOOD QUALITY GANGSTER FREE CANABIS...... Hello there, concerned cannabis users, I am a journalist writing a story about this substance which is being mixed with herbal cannabis. I am in contact with police,, the home office and health authorities and at the moment everyone is drawing a blank.
Speaking to health professionals, this substance could be the cause of a serious health risk.
I would greatly appreciate anyone who can offer me a sample of the stuff, which I am led to believe is silica, for testing, should the home office or police offer to do so.
Also, if anyone could give me a five minute phone interview, obviously as anonymous concerned smoker, Bob, that would be cool too.
If anyone has become ill through smoking this contaminated substance or has anymore info, I'd like to hear that.

Someone has to find out what this shit is. I tried smoking one of them j's of that bud last nite with a cigarette filter and it seemed alrite. The filter prevents any sort of particle going through but it also makes the joint weaker. I didn't feel that stoned from it which is bit shit as I guess the filter took most of the goodness out of it. If you really can't get any other bud and all u got is this I recommend either somehow finding a way to seperate the bud from the sand crap then smoking it or using a cigarette filter.

If you use a pipe, the grit is trapped by the gauze. But of course, the glue is still burning and we don't know what that is or what harm it could do.

But if you must smoke this stuff, use a pipe
