This damn stuff is still all over north london, managed to find a nice uncontaminated haze today but i know many others who haven't been so lucky.

Heres a thought: If the crystals don't burn until they reach a temparature far higher than that of a spliff, how come they aren't just falling from from the end like glassy hotrocks in the ash. Everything gets completely burnt which means it must be entering the lungs. Dr Fuckhead knows shit.

The grit defiantly falls through you can see tiny bits of what appear to be glass or silica also the crunch test is very cruchie.

Now i need to find a way to separate what is thc from the other shit, any ideas?

Have now managed to find some good weed now there seems to be a bit of it going about there no crunch at all not the strongest I've had but better then risking your lungs to get stoned! And by no surprise the cost has gone up peeps charges £25 for henry!

Well.. lots of people suggest "grow your own". So I have a question...

Where do we stand legally with growing 2-3 plants in our own homes for personal consumption only?

What sort of sentence would we be looking at if we were caught??

2-3 will likely get you a fine or community service - best option is talk to a lawyer if your concerned, but as long as you dont get caught ur fine ;) - beware tho, you'll def. get a criminal record if ur caught, which will have an impact on employment/loans/mortgages and so on

After spending the last few days reading this and other similar forums on the subject of grit, I am seriously considering growing too - the streetrats are shifting nothing but this stuff around my area - No wonder my regular guy hasn’t had anything good for months and has now given up trying to find anything to sell 'til Feb.

I can only reiterate what's already been said - if we dont buy the grit, there'll be no one to sell it to. There are now 2 streetrats I wont touch with a bargepole - one of which blatantly lied when asked whether his supply was gritty - poor business model from him - he's down at least 5 customers now (me and my mates).

Question: if you have a few plants in a bedroom cupboard or something, how on earth are you gonna get caught? As I understand it, as long as you aren't sucking more power than a normal house from the 'leccy grid, no one will ever know....?

One more thing - great article on the welsh news - but that copper clearly needs to have his head surgically removed from his backside - talk about blinkered. If, say, 5% of the UK population toke, why are we standing for the government's dangerous policies?

Is it 'cos we're too busy getting stoned to do anything about it...??!!

Usually by doing something stupid like going shoplifting and getting caught. Plod then go back to your kettle to see what else they can find.

Why didn't you give it some wet finger before buying it?

This is saddening to see so much of this grit s**t about.. My advice here, a well as do the wet finger test, Puffer recommends, it please just Boycott the dealers who sell this, as that shifts the responsibility, for safety, they don't sell, they will start checking their stock.

lol, i doubt it - but normal supplies are coming back, so this stuff is bound to disappear, or at least mostly disappear, eventually anyway

Don't you bother to look at it BEFORE you buy?

I would have thought that the obvious thing to do, and if you don't, well you have only yourself to blame, pointless coming on a forum and letting us know at all really as YOU are the only person who can do anything about it. I have no sympathy for you at all

If people did not continue to buy this stuff, dealers would soon stop selling it - the customers who know are just as much to blame as the dealers who know. It makes me so angry to think of all the effort put in to letting people know about this glass gass gritweed or whatever, and see people bemoaning the fact that they just bought some AGAIN!

Ive just picked up in the bucks/middlesex border...the weed i have is not gritty in the slightest and looks absolutly drippin in crystals, yet when smoked doesn't have a great taste and really dont get you stoned, I have a suspicion that those responsible for the grit may have realised people dont want gritty weed anymore, so have now found a different contaminate to add to the weed. its very hard to separate from the weed but DEFINATLY is not grit nor THC crystals!!!

Also, with the grit weed, has anybody tried to separate the grit and then do tests to find out burnin temps etc, does it explode and shatter when heated? At least if we know how this acts when burnt it can help make smoking it a little safer, if rolling tobacco burns at a lower temperature than a cigarette, it must therefore be safer to burn any contaminate in with baccy instead of fag....it may just be me babbling on, but it makes sense, right?
