FFS just got more of this shit sand weed just when i thought things were on the up. These mother fuckers should be shot for doing this. Maybe a trip to amsterdam would cheer me up a bit. Also i heard that this wankers shake the bud before they spray it this means all you are smoking is bud with hardly any thc and full of sand/glass or whatever these pricks are spraying on it. If they are using some sort of glue as well maybe this is what gives you a buzz and not the thc. All i can say is fuck the sand weed off and maybe one day we will get back to normal for now i will have to stick to the beers and wait for some nice green!!!!!!!

Everyone reading this post and indeed the entire thread need to take heed of the information posted here.

As many have said before, the only way to solve this problem is to take your money out of the equation.

As a weed smoker, you are not a crack head, you CAN stop whenever you want.
Medicinal cases are the obvious exception but as unfair as it is that they should have to suffer pain as a result, grit is far from medicinal.

The funny thing is loads of people i know r still smoking this shit i ve tried to tell them but they just won t listen so i am worried as long as this shit sells it will never stop maybe i should move to holland full stop as they have the right idea and r goverment r just a waste of time thats why i never vote they r all the same USELESS!

Same problem, I must have told literally hundreds of people ive met at uni and at home about this, probably only got about 20 smokers and 2dealers to avoid this. As dumb as it sounds, people are not gonna stop smoking this stuff until there are proven deaths from it, even then how many people still smoke tobacco despite the health risks, i know i do and until yesterday i was a medical student! All we can do is keep trying to convince people, and until the government gets its arse into gear and sorts out this mess i fear that those who truly care about the contamination are going to be stuck as a minority and its going to get increasingly difficult for us to find good weed. this will not improve until the homegrown lost to operation keymer (aka operation screw the innocent) has been replaced and the growers realise that they can charge more for 'clean' bud. sorry to be negative but its going to get worse before it improves and then the improvement will come with a price increase.

she has had it a few times now and wondered why it was gritty!

alrite guys, silica sand weed has seriously bad effects on your lungs. The particles inhaled react with your lungs and cause the tissue to thicken. I cant remember the medical term because im horrendously baked. To avoid this happening smoke your green through a vapouriser. The element in the vapouriser will heat the actual THC crystals to a point where they will vapourise for inhalation, but the silica 'crystals' wont vapourise, as they vapourise at 400 degrees. Smoke Healthy, Stay Heavy. Grow your own, dinnae buy shite.

having just read this thread i must say im shocked, worried, and totally paranoid after smoking roughly 2 oz of this stuff. im in the north-east but get my stuff from manchester. I did have about an half oz of it but thats now scattered along the a19. Why pollute perfectly good weed? My health concerns me now also with two little toddlers to raise. The message has definatly sank in here, no more grit for me even if i go without, and a big go fuck yourselves to whoever does this and deals this!

recently tho ive started getting the taste of blood in the back of my throat/mouth?! im praying its got nothin to do with this shite but the more i read on here the more im getting worried!

luckly ive just met a guy thats growing his own and its cheese and has also imported a shite load of block weed. so luckly me i actually get to smoke something decent! at 150 a oz its gotta be worth it too! if i knew you all i promise i would share it too!!! ;o/

but as for the sandy shite! i wont touch that again! its kinda hard to stop smoking when you have smoked for so long but maybe now its time to stop!?

You can blame greedy dealers as much as you want - and I agree - but given that you know that fact - why keep buying it? You need to seriously think about the people you are getting it from and stop trusting them. So long as people keep buying it, people will keep making it, so the buyers who know and keep buying as just as much a part of the problem, and really coming on here moaning about it will not do much good at all will it.

Basically it's down to dealer and customer. Customers need to
1) check their buy before they pay, and / or
2) demand the RIGHT for money back pro rata
3) throw away anything that they cannot return to the dealer

If the dealer won't agree, don't buy. I KNOW that may mean going without, but believe me you are better off going without than risking immediate and future serious health problems.

A new gritweed has now entered the UK via the Midlands, and has been reported for sale in East Anglia. The cannabis is imported vacpacked in 500g bars. The dust was shaken, and sent to me to be photographed.

The bag, on first inspection looked like a pale pollen. When the bag was (gently) sniffed, it produced very little odour.----

Its certainly not organic. Very tiny particles... Just look at the
pollen pics from my previous thread as a reference to what the pics
should look like.

Exactly what this is, I do not know. I will run a few tests, then send
the remained, along with my findings, to my local drug liason officer.
