Im in oxfordshire and we have had some gritty weed round here but no where near as coated as that is. If somthing isnt done soon thatll be the sort of weed sold every where. I have found it impossible to buy anything not coated in this crap.

in rsponse to the last post i made, as i suspected, just got a fresh batch pf "sand weed", gutted!!!

ended up smoking it anyway since there wasn't anything else around. i know it bad for your health but needs must!

can't be any worse than smoking crap old soap bar can it?

Met a guy last night from b'ham he had the same sandy weed as we had here in oxon.
its all over the country. is there any way you can split the sand from the weed do you think if you soak it the sand will drop off?
since smoking the shit weed i have been coughing up shit in the morning i wouldnt usually.
now that this has started its worrying to think that people will start using almost anything in the same form as sand just to weigh their weed down.
they could start crushing up dog wormers and blasting our bud with that- who knows im just worried that our naturally grown smoke is going to be turned into the same sort of shite that pill poppers put into their system.

onthecase your so right, but everyone I warn just blocks it out so they dont have to worry about it. A filter does seem to stop my mouth being filled with the substance, and so I guess its keeping it away from my lungs too?

you can tell when it's contaminated....plus THC doesnt crackle in ur mouth! its disolves in ur mouth- so if you just lick ur tounge and dab it on the bud then lick u will know...read up on the glass test etc...that works.
oh and stick it towards the light - if u see even one grain of reflective grain - then its contaminated.

hi m8 nightmare this sand weed is up here in deeside nr chester the shit don't even get you stoned fooking horrible bastards. at a first glance i thought my luck was in crystals every where.i had heard of it but thouhgt it was a myth, after looking at this site [shit hot]and smoking sand for an hour this myth was sqaushed. drought is bad up here nout decent for 6 weeks.

just think tho - the best potent stoney indica's and high sativas dont even have this much crytals on...and that gets u bolloxed. i wouldnt even call it sand - i dont think it is at all.
i had a sample that i sent of and when handling it it felt like i had sharp bits sticking in my finger. like you would if u had a tiny catus hair in it.

we've got this shit here in ipswich too, since october time had nothing but sand and glass, i have three or four sources and have come across three or four different types and thats all there is. iv started growing my own strawberry cough and super skunk but wot do u do for the 12 weeks that takes to grow? no choice but to smoke that shit. i used to smoke alot of soap bar and to be honest i dont feel as bad as i used to off that crap, but even so what a sorry state of affairs.

im in the same dilemma - none of my m8's will budge either except for a couple..which will search high n low to get good bud.they think we are paranoid ha.

i hope something comes of these samples - hopefully a lab will test 'em. maybe you should send a sample urself to the LCA? then if it gets tested and it proves that this shite has fibre glass etc in then they will have to listen - then its there choice..
