PUFFER: Since you derive so much pleasure from pointing out the shortcomings of others, I feel I must do the same to you.

Sounds like someone is living in Shangri-La/Bullshit/Ripoff land to me. I've never known a plant that will flower with 24/7.
That is YOU. There are people who don't know ABC, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist: [

Look at your first post. You were asking for advice on this plant and the lighting. You were given advice that no plant will flower properly under 24/7 lighting yet in your latest post you then claimed that you knew all about these plants anyway and rubbished our advice. Not a spammer by any chance are you?
He never claimed he knew all about Lowryder, he rubbished the 'advice' because it is patently wrong, people have grown it under 24/7 light.
The whole point of this strain is that it has autoflowering characteristics, making it easy to grow without having the hassle of getting the lighting periods right and even dispensing with the need for lights, meaning it can be grown on a windowsill, in a hanging basket under a skylight, or outside at nearly any time of the year (I presume it will die like most things in the cold of winter). Directions: Plant, feed for 2 months, cut, dry, smoke.
With a wick system and a large enough reservoir with an aquarium pump, you could set up a grow, come back 2 months later and harvest. Not flawless, as there might be unforseen problems (infection, mould) and if you wanted sensi you would obviously need to remove the males, but it would make the whole process much less labour intensive.
All you would need for an auto-flowering-auto-grow (AFAG)! is a substrate (Coco coir, dirt) in something (pots, bin bags), nutrient rich water, large reservoir, air pump, wicks (shoestrings) and SOME light.
Elementary to biology, the effect of increasing light intensity and duration will give bigger, better yields, but in theory AFs should be able to bud with any amount of light, so one could place as many plants as they wanted wherever they wanted and they'd all still give some bud in the end, whereas non-AFs would likely never bud because of the need for different light periods in vegetative and flowering growth.
Lowryder is being crossed (by MDanzig) with various varieties to get better smell, taste, high, aesthetic value, e.g. Blue Streak (Masterlow x Blueberry (DJ Short), Masterlow = Lowryder x Master Kush)
I'm sure Joint Doctor is working on improving his original Lowryder strains aswell.
I don't think auto-flowering is merely a 'novelty', I think it is the future.
