shaun whitmarsh sheepy1976@yahoo.co.uk Deep vein thrombosis, leg ulcers, recovering heroin addict Friday 26 Sep 2008 AND i have on top of this ulcers on this leg witch fluctuate bigger and smaller but in three years has never gone completely so this causes my nerves to be showing around and in the ulcer so as you can imagine the smallest of knocks courses me to feel excruciating pain, but because of the swelling i feel pain all the time), with this my limphinodes in my leg fill with liquid so it swells up and down all the time, some times my leg swells up to 24 inches that's a 2 foot calf just under my knee, anyway also i have been a recovering heroin addict for about three years now but was in active addiction for over 15 years,i was on 200mls of methadone a day i begged and pleaded with my specialist addictions doctors to put me on to anything else bar that but they would not basically because of money, after about 9 months of being on this silly amount of methadone i started to get problems with this (legal drug)for one it can make my feel very drowsy and it is so acidic that it burnt my stomach lining and a few times i woke up choking to death because of stomach acids and other stuff went back up into my throat, but still when i asked for help they couldn't really be bothered, well i was still only a smack head i there eyes, just after Christmas of 2007 i started smoking cannabis again and straight away i noticed that it help me with (well loads actually) my pain started to ease i started to get up in the day and do a few things it made my life style a hell of a lot better and easier to manage with in 6 months of starting to smoke and eat cannabis i went into my drugs worker and said i wanted to cut down to 150mls in one go, this has never been done before in the UK he told me and recommended that i did it slowly( as i hated being on the stuff) so i cut out 50mls in one go straight away i felt more alive more awake, and now i feel ready to cut out more methadone, but with out cannabis all of my recovery and my future would not of be possibl! y at all , i would like to add that cannabis is reconised in America and other country to have medical property so why do they still not aloe us the people to have our healing plant as it is just a plant natural put here by god for us to use as we see fit as responsible patients and people, this plant can help and heal so many people why do they still hold it from us??? do our government think they know more then god??? anyway keep using cannabis, keep hounding your government to give us people that can benefit from it to have it and use it as we see fit,,, not victim no crime, take care and thanks for reading my testie oooo he said testie he he he he,,
