Post-surgery

My husband had surgery to repair a torn ligament in his shoulder. When he came home he was in agony. The pain med made him so itchy that he couldn't take it. He requested a couple of different meds, but nothing worked. He was agitated and miserable, and I could do nothing to help him. He was delerious and thought he was lying in a desert with his limbs cut off. He was in terrible shape. A friend showed up just at the right time and gave him some cannabis. It worked immediately, giving him relief from his pain and calming him down.He relaxed and was finally able to sleep. He was able to begin to function again. Without this miracle medicine, his recovery would have taken much longer and would have been much more traumatic.It's beyond me why this wonder substance is illegal. We can binge drink and smoke tobacco until we kill ourselves, but this God given herb is taboo. It helps so many conditions. It makes absolutely no sense.
