Epilepsy

Sunday 04 Oct 2009

Four years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy after nights of waking up and
not being able to walk, feeling like I need to be sick, head thumping. This
got steadily worse and turned into seizures, one so bad I was in it for 40
minutes (a very long and dangerous time to be in a seizure, potentially life
threatening) and I was having these almost every night during sleep.
Medication I tried never worked to control my seizures but after being
introduced to cannabis my seizures suddenly started to sease and for two
years I haven't had a single seizure, or took any medication other than
cannabis. The medical system, and clinically ill people are both missing out
on something so helpful for so many things.

Thanks for reading
