The Cannabis Marches

There have been some big marches in support of legalising cannabis. The first one was way back in 1967, but it wasn't until the late 1990's that the campaign really picked up steam when the independent on Sunday newspaper organised the "Decriminalise cannabis" march. This was followed every year by ever larger celebrations of the cannabis culture until the government fought back in 2005.

Again, please if you have any pictures or memories of these events - especially the 1967 march, please contact UKCIA
